In family therapy I help families to come to collaborative goals and to communicate together. I work to give each person the space they need to express themselves.
Our world is changing and what we see as okay, supportive and loving is changing rapidly. In the face of this change I have witnessed many families separate and divide. Adult children are making the choice more and more to raise their children without the help of grandparents. Many families have things they "just don't talk about" and those things tend to erode trust and compassion in each other over time. I am interested in helping motivated families to repair these relationships; grieve old losses and start a new.
